As the core operating equipment in port loading and unloading, logistics transfer, mining yard and other scenarios, the tire type grabber directly determines the operating efficiency, operating cost and adaptability range. Compared with crawler-type grippers, tire-type models have the dual characteristics of flexible transitions and heavy-load operations. The core performance is concentrated in five dimensions, which is the core basis for scene selection.


The power system is the "heart" of the tire-type scraper. Most of the current mainstream models use high-pressure common-rail diesel engines that comply with National III and above emission regulations. The power ranges from 150 to 300 horsepower. The output torque can be automatically adjusted according to the workload. It can not only meet the high torque requirements when grabbing heavy materials (such as scrap steel, ore), but also adapt to the low-energy consumption mode when working with light-load materials (such as waste paper, agricultural products). The supporting electro-hydraulic control system is a key extension of the power performance. It achieves efficient matching of the engine and the hydraulic system through a precise flow distribution valve group, reduces ineffective power loss, and at the same time ensures the response speed of actions such as grabbing, lifting, and turning. The response delay of a single action is controlled within 0.5 seconds to ensure a consistent operating rhythm.


Crawling performance is the core indicator, focusing on load capacity, operating range and stability. In terms of gripping force, the single-flap gripping force of the standard multi-flap grab can reach 8 to 12 tons. With the adjustable closing pressure, it can be adapted to all scenarios from 20kg bulk materials to 10-ton heavy objects; the operating radius usually covers 12 to 18 meters, and the lifting height can reach 10 to 16 meters, which can meet the operating needs of truck compartments, high-rise ship cabins and high-level stockyards. Stability is the basis for heavy-load grabbing. Most models are equipped with retractable auxiliary outriggers. After the outriggers are deployed during operation, the ground pressure of the entire machine is reduced by 30%. With the low center of gravity frame design, when operating on sites with a slope of less than 5°, the shaking amplitude of the entire machine is controlled within 1°, completely eliminating the risk of overturning. In addition, the grabbing cycle time (from the closing of the grabbing material to the completion of the unloading) is usually 15 to 25 seconds, which is about 20% more efficient than traditional models, directly driving the increase in the workload per unit time.


The adaptability to maneuverability and working conditions is the outstanding advantage of the tire-type machine. The tire-type structure allows the small turning radius to be controlled at 6 to 9 meters. It can automatically transfer between narrow operating channels and small yards without relying on trailer transportation. The time required for transfer is reduced by more than 70% compared with crawler models, making it suitable for scenarios where multiple operating points are frequently switched. In terms of working condition compatibility, for scenarios such as high dust in ports, large amounts of sand and gravel in mines, and high humidity in logistics parks, mainstream models are equipped with three-level dustproof filtration systems and IP54 waterproof electrical components, which can operate stably at ambient temperatures from -20°C to 45°C. Some models can also be equipped with explosion-proof devices to meet the special processing needs of flammable and explosive materials.


Energy consumption and reliability directly affect long-term operating value. The intelligent temperature control cooling system and hydraulic overflow recovery technology reduce fuel consumption per unit workload by 15% to 20% compared with traditional models; the core components adopt a modular design, and the average trouble-free time of key parts such as the engine and hydraulic pump exceeds 5,000 hours. The built-in fault warning system can monitor oil temperature and oil pressure in real time, predict potential faults in advance, and reduce the probability of sudden shutdowns.
