Core influencing factors of environmental protection performance

1. Emission standards

The domestic emission standards for excavators have been upgraded from National III to National VI. The restrictions on pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) vary significantly at different stages. For instance, the National IV standard requires that nitrogen oxide emissions be reduced by 13% to 45% compared to National III, and particulate matter emissions be cut by 50% to 94%. Fixed excavators that meet the National IV and above standards have significantly reduced exhaust pollution and are more in line with environmental protection requirements.




2. Noise reduction technology

The operation noise of traditional excavators often interferes with the surrounding environment, while environmentally friendly equipment significantly reduces noise by adopting silent technologies (such as low-noise engines and optimized hydraulic system design). For instance, some models can keep noise at a relatively low level, reducing disturbance to residents' lives and are suitable for noise-sensitive areas such as city centers.

3. Driving mode

The application of electric drive or hybrid power systems can significantly reduce exhaust emissions. 1. Exhaust gas treatment technology

Installing exhaust gas treatment equipment (such as particulate filters and selective catalytic reduction systems) can further purify the waste gas and reduce the emission of harmful substances.

2. Energy-saving design

The adoption of an intelligent control system can automatically adjust the power output according to the work requirements, avoiding energy waste. For instance, by optimizing the efficiency of the hydraulic system or using lightweight materials to reduce its own weight, the energy consumption per unit of operation can be lowered.

3. Maintenance and management

Limitations of environmental protection performance

1. Initial cost

Environmentally friendly equipment, due to the adoption of advanced technologies, usually has a relatively high purchase cost, which may affect enterprises' willingness to purchase.

2. Infrastructure dependence

Electric excavators rely on complete charging facilities and their application is limited in remote areas or scenarios with insufficient power supply.

3. Technological maturity

Some new environmental protection technologies (such as hydrogen fuel cells) are still in the experimental stage, and their reliability and durability need to be further verified.
